The municipal campsite le Vieux Chatel, at Combourg, between Rennes and St Malo, is at 5 minutes from the centre of the town, by a pathway along the side of the lake.
An ideal situation allowing you to go for a drink, go shopping or to browse through the local market on a Monday morning.
The camping welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes on the 70 places surrounded by hedges but you can also stay in one of our recently installed static homes, recent and comfortable.
The campsite is open from the 1st April to 1st November.
An agreable team is there to welcome you from 8am to 12am and from 2pm to 8pm ( from 8.30am to 11.30am and from 2.30pm to 7.30pm in September and October).
The point for all the tourist information, in direct with the Office of tourisme of Combourg, offers documentation in relation to Brittany, activities, leisure activities, animations, useful addresses...
By reserving the night before, you can have a hearty breakfast in the cafeteria or on the terrace or you can collect your bread and pastries at the reception from 8.15 am.
For your comfort, our campsite provides for your leisure activities: a washing machine, iron and ironing board,hair dryer, board games, table tennis, rackets, newspapers and magazines, books, barbacues and a mini shop where you can find basic food and regional products which will delight your taste buds and your friends when you return home.
The WI FI on the campsite is free.
You like fishing? the lake of Maffins is at just a few dozen metres, as well as the tennis courts and the bowls course. Direct access to the childrens play area allows your children to play in complete security while you profit from the health circuit, play table tennis or volley ball.
Of course, your animals are welcome in Brittany. Long walks in the countryside, along the lake, will allow them to have a happy holiday.
There are often animations in Brittany and we also propose a musical animation each Wednesday between 6pm and 8pm (which allows peace and quiet at night), friendly and directly on the campsite.
In July : sailor shantys on the 20th, french songs on the 27th.
In August: Breton music and dance on the 3rd, 10th and 17th, french songs the 24th
And to respect the tradition, galette-saucisse (breton snack) and pancakes available.
